About Gopredictfy

Built in Nigeria, for football fans everywhere

What we do

Gopredictfy publishes football match predictions covering leagues from around the world — everything from major European competitions to smaller domestic leagues that get less attention elsewhere. For every match we cover, we combine a statistical model built on team form, scoring history, and head-to-head record with live bookmaker odds, to arrive at a single published prediction.

We don't only predict match winners. Where the data points more clearly to a different kind of outcome — for example, that a match is likely to be high-scoring, or that both teams are likely to score — we publish that instead. The goal is always to say the most useful, best-supported thing about a given match, not to force every prediction into the same shape.

How predictions are built

Every prediction draws on several inputs: each team's recent form and goal-scoring record, their head-to-head history (weighted so recent meetings count for more than old ones), current league standings, injury and squad news where available, and — importantly — live odds from real bookmakers. Bookmaker prices reflect a huge amount of information we can't otherwise see, so we treat them as a genuine input to the model, not just a comparison point.

Our confidence numbers aren't fixed guesses — they're checked against what actually happened afterward, and adjusted over time so that a "70% confidence" prediction means roughly what it says. This calibration process runs continuously and improves as more results come in.

Our VIP picks

Our VIP tier is selected differently from the free predictions on the site. Rather than ranking by how confident the model is, VIP picks are ranked by edge — how much the model's view differs from what the bookmaker's own odds already imply. A prediction the market already agrees with isn't especially useful for betting purposes, even if it's often correct; real value comes from genuine disagreement with the market. That's the bar VIP picks are held to.

Where we can be wrong

No prediction system, ours included, can account for everything — a red card, a manager's tactical gamble, a player carrying a knock that isn't public. We aim to be a genuinely useful, honest input into your own thinking about a match, not a guarantee. Treat every prediction here as one well-reasoned opinion, not certainty.
